Guess What's we got for you! Finally, I have enough time and energy to find other recipes, and what better recipe to celebrate than ramen? I've gotten a lot of suggestions for this and I can see why. Growing up in Naruto, a steaming bowl of ramen seemed like the perfect meal. But at the time, I didn't understand the difference between them and the difference between Top Ramen wraps. Now I still use Top Ramen noodles, but add many other traditional ramen items.
Although the noodles and sauce are not 110% authentic, they are still delicious. charity! (If you're really looking for a recipe that's as traditional as possible, I plan to make one later. Be warned, it will take a while)
Ingredients :
* 2 packages superior ramen noodles Approx.
* 5 cups pork or beef stock (you can use canned, canned, diced, or noodles)
* Pork Tenderloin
* 2 Eggs
* 1 Bok Choy
* 1 Green Onion
* Soy Sauce
Optional:
Aburage : which is one of the soy products used to make inari sushi. These are my favorites and you should be able to find them at any Asian grocery store.
Nori : I forgot to say this is mine, but it's black/green leaves sticking out the back. You can probably find it in any grocery store with an Asian food section
Kamaboko: It's the white stuff with a pink swirl. It is made of steamed fish paste like a cake. I know it's some sort of Naruto ramen specialty, but I don't have time to buy it at an Asian grocery store (that's where you're supposed to be).
Instructions:
Marinate the fillet for at least 3 hours. You can just use soy sauce or any other combination of Asian sauces you like. Teriyaki and some mirin were good. Preheat oven to 50 degrees and roast steak 12 to 15 minutes or until cooked through.
Put the eggs in a saucepan and add enough water to cover the eggs. Bring to a boil and cover. Hard-boiled eggs take about 10 minutes. Then remove them from the water and cool them in a bowl of cold water. Meanwhile, pour the broth/broth into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
You can add soy sauce or mirin to taste. When boiling, add the ramen noodles above. Do not add seasoning packets. Let it boil. Now we cut out all the fillings! Peel the eggs and cut them in half, chop the ham, fish cakes, cabbage, seaweed and green onions. Put the noodles and broth in a deep bowl, then combine all the ingredients on top and add some small rectangles of nori. Itadakimasu!
